The difference between deep carbonized wood and preservative wood

1. Deep carbonized wood is wood treated by high-temperature carbonization technology at about 200 degrees. Because its nutrients are destroyed, it has better anti-corrosion and insect-proof functions. Because its water-absorbing functional group hemicellulose is reorganized, the product has better physical properties. Deep carbonized preservative wood (referred to as deep carbonized wood) is relative to surface carbonized wood. In appearance, the carbonized wood on the surface is inconsistent in color inside and outside, and the carbonized layer is as thin as the surface paint layer.

2. Anti-corrosion wood is the wood that undergoes certain modification measures under certain conditions, so that the wood has the properties of anti-corrosion and anti-mildew. The general preservative wood is modified by adding preservatives, and most of the preservatives are toxic and volatile, which is harmful to the human body.

3. Deep carbonized wood does not add any potion in the modification process, it is only a physical modification process. It is a green and environmentally friendly product, non-toxic and harmless.

Both carbonized wood and preservative wood have anti-corrosion and anti-mildew properties. However, carbonized wood also has various functions such as moisture-proof, anti-stripping, anti-deformation, etc., and its effect is incomparable to general anti-corrosion wood.
